Future Generation Art Prize 2023
Open to artists ages 35 and under, this prize will give 20 shortlisted applicants the opportunity to create new work for display at the PinchukArtCentre in Kyiv. “Subsequently, all of them will present their works in the Future Generation Art Prize exhibition at the Venice Biennale,” the organizers explain. “The main prize winner receives $100,000, split between a $60,000 cash prize and a $40,000 investment in their practice.
“Up to five special prizes are awarded at the discretion of the jury. A total amount of $20,000 will be awarded to special prize winners for supporting projects that develop their artistic practice.” Applications are open through April 30th.
Polycopies &Co Call for Projects
“Polycopies &Co is an association that brings together collectors to promote the workof photographers and the publishing of photography books, by financially supporting projects,” the organization explains. The sum awarded will be €2,500, €5,000, or €10,000, depending on the project’s budget. Applications are open through May 1st.
Portfolio 2023 by The Atlanta Photography Group (APG)
The Atlanta Photography Group (APG) welcomes submissions to their juried exhibition, Portfolio 2023, which will be devoted to featuring cohesive bodies of work. Shana Lopes, an Assistant Curator of Photography at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, will select eight artists for the exhibition, along with two alternates.
“All exhibiting artists will be eligible for the 2023 APG/ Museum Purchase Award of $3,000, which is slated for placement into the High Museum’s permanent collection,” the team at APG shares. The deadline for entries is April 8th.
