A wildlife photography title worth £10,000. Solo gallery exhibitions in Barcelona, Chicago, and Budapest. An artist residency in Australia’s breathtaking Greater Blue Mountains. A €30,000 cash prize to pursue a personal project dedicated to environmental or humanist photography. Find all that and more in the November edition of Feature Shoots open call roundup.

The Big Buzz © Karine Aigner (@kaigner), Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2022: “Wings-whirring, incoming males home in on the ball of buzzing bees that is rolling straight into the picture. The sense of movement and intensity is shown at bee-level magnification and transforms what are little cactus bees into big competitors for a single female,” says Chair of the Jury Roz Kidman Cox. “Like most bees, they are threatened by habitat loss, pesticides, and climate change, as well as farming practices that disrupt their nesting grounds.” Karine Aigner /Wildlife Photographer of the Year
